Day 3 - May 13th

This morning, we braved the public transport system to make our way to Nirmas place for breakfast, a sumptious repast in good company.

Nirmas bike

After we left Nirmas, we spotted a green bike, then we went to look at St Michaels church and the Spanish Riding School, although the horses weren't exercising until Tuesday. So we went accross the way and looked at the Sisi Museum, housed in the Stephan apartments.

The museum is over two floors, the lower housing the royal cutlary and dinner sets, more of them than you can imagine. Upstairs is the gallery outlining the life of Empress Elisabeth of Austria.
Afterwards, we headed to a nearby cafe and spent time wondering the city, stopping to see two churches and browsing several shops.

To top off the afternoon, we stumbled on the Wolf Apostelkeller, an underground restaurant (and well worth checking out if you get a chance). The food was good and the entertainment ejoyable.

Thus ended our visit to Vienna - Day 4 was spent travelling home.
